Opened my eyes, it was 8 am.. I had CGI laboratory exam at 11 am.. So, thought of sleeping for some more time.. At around 9 am, my friend Jay called me to wish me all the best, i got up then.. i had still two more programs to glance, out of 15.. Washed my face and came inside my room to finish off the left ones.. Was feeling hungry, so thought of having breakfast first.. As i stepped out for breakfast, i gotta call from my friend, Vinayak, my lab batchmate.. It was exactly 9.30 am..
Conversations went like tis..
Vinayak: Looo.. Where r u??
I: I am in hostel, y??
Vinayak: Won't you attend lab exam??
I(Confidently): hmmmm., i will.. Its at 11 am..
Vinayak: Come here.. its already started.. We had at 8 am itself..
I(Bit nervously): Dude, are u joking??
Vinayak: Idiot, i am serious.. Come soon..
I(Pissed off): Sure, within minutes i'll be there..
Took my wallet, my bag and bike key.. Thats it.. i rode real fast and reached college.. I parked my bike in pay and park vehicle stand.. Went inside my college, near laboratories.. It was around 9.40 am.. i was not able to find in which lab was the exam going on.. I entered one of the lab and heard a voice shouting at me to go inside the lab soon and ask sorry to the lecturer.. It was Sudeepthi, my another batchmate.. I was too nervious by that time.. I went inside to see almost blank..
Internal: Srinath and External: Ramesh from Mandhya both stared at me.. I approached near them and pleaded so to allow me to take the exam.. Internal told "Better take the exam next time.." I went mad.. I was asking sorry continuously saying that "I thought the lab exam was at 11 am.. It was my mistake, i am really sorry.." After few minutes, external allowed me to take.. I became bit cool.. I got 5th program which was to display the contents of the database using CGI program.. I completed the write up of the program in 5 minutes.. Started typing the same in the system.. External came and sat beside me.. He was too good and sweet.. He politely asked me to be careful from next time and whether i was placed in any company.. I told "Yes, to Infosys.." He them told me that he was the one who asked Vinayak to call me and attend the lab as it should not be a problem to my job.. I was thanking him so much.. Later, i showed my output to the internal.. Did some modification asked by him.. Viva went well too.. Was happy at the end.. Internal was pretending to be rude, but he too was a sweet guy.. Finally, i thanked both of them and came out.. "God wont appear to you directly, they appear in the form of living.." Thank you all who helped me to do my last lab exam of my Engineering life.. :)
